Dear God -
Thank you for the women who cared for Caroline today while I attended a funeral out of town. It's so nice that she's so willing to be with other people, and isn't clingy or needy. God, also, thank you for the opportunity to miss her - we spend so much time together, that it would be easy to take it for granted. Thank you for the time apart, which reminded me of how much I love our time together.
